Hold on... let me just grab my cape.

Hold on... let me just grab my cape.

Well... Clearly by "More soon!" in my last post, I actually meant "Months later!"

Okay... where do I even start?

The weathered sign and the puzzle piece projects from the last posts were scrapped... too tedious. My little guy LOVED the handy dandy notebook though! And still plays with it!

How do I wrap up the last 6 months in one blog post? I can't really. Not only would it be long and drawn out, but it would be boring for you and then you'd never want to read this again! We can't have that.

How about some bullet points? Everyone loves bullet points. Here goes:

The List of Things That Happened During the Last Six Months:

  • My little guy turned three and started preschool!
  • I started an apprenticeship at the farm I volunteer at and am working toward becoming a licensed riding instructor.
  • I have organized every square inch of my living space.
  • I have started/finished/scrapped about 400 craft ideas.
  • I ended up making picture frames for everyone for Christmas.
  • I started taking a really cool online class (for fun not for credit).
It's almost 2:30 AM and I really need to go to sleep. I'm clearly procrastinating. Part of me wants to fold all my laundry, but the tired - and more logical and kind - part of me knows that I have to get up in four hours, drop the little man off at school and head to the farm for one of my morning feeding shifts.

Maybe procrastinating isn't the right word... (Okay, okay. It IS. Stop judging. haha) But I've really been inspired to write lately. I just don't know what to write about. I do a lot and I have a lot to say, but I almost feel like I'll bore people to death with the mundane goings on of my daily activities. Either way, I need to start updating this more. Much more. Three times a day... haha. Totally just kidding.

One final list and then I'm off either to bed or to be swallowed whole by the mountain of clean clothes waiting for me in my bedroom. Wish me luck.

The List of Things to Be Written About at a Later Date:
  • My little man's first day of preschool!
  • My life at the farm.
  • Mother's Day project.
  • The class I'm taking.
  • My adventures in online dating.
  • Free time - I don't know what to do with myself during it...
  • My quest to have an ad voted as "Best of Craigslist".
  • Freecycle activities - how to get everything you need and not pay a dime (except gas).
  • Speaking of gas, I got a new car. It's barely holding itself together. I'll tell you all about it.
  • My analysis of life.
I know that's a lot to look forward to but try to contain yourself and get some sleep too. You're welcome.

:)
